Keep your head high and move forward one day at a time.
It’s ok to feel sadness and pain, just don’t let it lead you to make unhealthy decisions. Cry if you have to, even feel angry- and find a way to deal with it- pound a pillow, journal, draw, talk to a trusted friend, etc. But remember to then focus on the positive. There is always something good that can come out of every situation. Sometimes it’s difficult to see, and sometimes it may not surface for awhile- but, trust and know that it is there.
