Never ruin an apology with an excuse

Never ruin an apology with an excuse

An apology with an excuse is not an apology. It is an excuse. The word ” BUT” should never be in the apologetic sentence either.

There are big differences between excuses and reasons. Excuses try to take away culpability while reasons explain for education so it does not happen again. Reasons do not try to remove culpability. ~ Michelle Contois

Excuses are one thing, reasons are another. I like reasons. I like to understand why a person acted the way they did, it helps a lot. ~ Jennifer Cox
